• Provide governance for a cluster of semi-autonomous teams and monitor performance.

• Coordinate with core factory functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality, Safety).
• Drive teams to eliminate waste and counter losses using ICMS/IP methodologies.
• Maintain clear communication and engagement across the factory.

The Cell Lead (First Line Manager) is a management professional with a good technical understanding of manufacturing, general or chemical engineering or food technology.

What you\'ll be responsible for

• Provide the governance function for a cluster of semi-autonomous teams, delivering
• management and leadership support for performance monitoring, overtime allocation, working patterns and dispute resolution.
• Retain responsibility for the Technical and Basic Operators within the semi-autonomous team but is not involved in the day to day team management beyond the monitoring and performance management role.
• Lead improvement projects for operational processes
• Interpret technical diagnostics in chemical and electro-mechanical processes and controls, identify key issues, and process risks
• Drive semi-autonomous team\’s work and eradicate waste to counter losses by using their ICMS methodologies and IP Processes.
• Provide common standard of communication and engagement across the factory. You will liaise closely with the core factory functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality and Safety to achieve this.
