Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Co. is seeking a Manufacturing Crew member to operate and support line processes, ensuring clean, safe, and quality-packed products. You will assist with pre start-up checks, set up equipment, and manage material movement between staging and filling lines.

You will follow SOPs, maintain GMP compliance, log shift events, and contribute to a safe work environment. Fresh graduates with technical degrees are welcome; flexible to shifts and eager to learn will fit well.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Vocational degree in any technical field.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Fresh graduates with a technical degree are welcome.
• Basic knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Flexible to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Assist Line Operator with pre start-up checks to ensure area and equipment are clean and safe.
• Perform cleaning and disinfection per SOPs including startup, flavor and pack changes, and deep cleaning.
• Assist in setting up equipment prior to run, ensuring safety and product quality.
• Provide raw and packaging materials to filling lines from staging areas.
• Ensure GMP, CRQS, Micro and Zero FOM compliance; detect abnormalities and take action.
• Record shift events and turnover data accurately for performance reporting.

Job description

The Role

The Manufacturing Crew is responsible for carrying out general line operations and cleaning regimes according to planned operational requirements in order to safely deliver a good quality packed product.

What you'll be responsible for

• Assists the Line Operator to carry out pre start-up checks to ensure that the area and equipment is clean and is in a safe condition as per the SOP. Assists shutting down equipment and the area as per the SOP.

• Performs cleaning and disinfection activities as per Standard Operating Procedures. This covers C&D during startup, flavor change over, pack size change over, and close out (deep cleaning). This includes disassembly of equipment parts due for cleaning and re-assembly prior to startup. Alerts team leaders to potential sources of contamination and dirt identified in inaccessible places.

• Assists in setting up equipment prior to run, following SOPs ensuring safety of people and quality of products during operation.

• Provides a continuous supply of appropriate raw and packaging material from staging area to the respective filling lines.

• Ensures compliance to GMP standards, CRQS, Micro, and Zero FOM. Detects process abnormalities quickly and takes emergency action to prevent them.

• Accurately monitors and records events that have occurred during shift (cases packed/rejects etc.) in the performance report and turnover to the next shift.

• Must actively contribute to the safe working environment and safety programs. Must comply to Safety policies, Golden Rules and participate in SBO recording.

• Regular submission of OPLs and tags.

• Require a level of agility to move quickly between workstations, ascend and descend steps often carrying loads. Assembly and control operations also require a level of hand eye coordination and finger dexterity. Monitoring and Quality assurance tasks require an adequate level of sight and smell.

We're looking for someone who:

• Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Degree holder in any technical course

• At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience

• Fresh graduates with a degree in any technical course are welcome to apply

• Basic knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting

• Flexible within pattern of shift work
