Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Philippines is seeking a CE Intern to support business analysis, D365 CE configuration, and solution delivery with a focus on Microsoft technologies and enterprise software.

You will participate in requirements workshops, document functional specs, map business processes to D365 capabilities, and contribute to data migrations and testing. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and practical exposure to CRM and low-code platforms.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience or exposure to at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++) through coursework or projects.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) or simple app development.
• Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform or Dynamics 365 basics.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering workshops with business users.

• Perform gap-fit analysis between D365 CE functionality and business needs.
• Create and maintain functional specs and configuration workbooks.
• Map business processes to D365 capabilities (Sales, Service, etc.).
• Support change management including training materials and adoption tracking.
• Build and configure entities, forms, views, and dashboards in sandbox.
• Create Power Automate flows for business automation.
• Set up security roles and basic governance.
• Configure reports/dashboards (Power BI embedded).
• Perform data migration tasks using Data Loader or Azure Data Factory templates.
• Execute system and user acceptance testing with test cases.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Participate in requirements gathering workshops and interviews with business users.
• Document functional requirements using user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform gap-fit analysis between standard D365 CE functionality and business needs.
• Create and maintain functional specification documents and configuration workbooks.
• Map business processes (Sales, Service, Marketing, Field Service) to D365 capabilities.
• Support change management activities including training materials and user adoption tracking.
• Build and configure entities, forms, views, business process flows, and dashboards in sandbox environments.
• Create and maintain Power Automate flows for business automation.
• Set up security roles, business units, and field-level security.
• Configure out-of-the-box and custom reports/dashboards (Power BI embedded).
• Perform data migration tasks using Data Loader or Azure Data Factory templates.
• Execute system and user acceptance testing including test case creation and execution.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience or exposure in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++) demonstrated through coursework, projects, or self-study.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (classes, inheritance, polymorphism).
• Familiarity with basic web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) or simple app development.
• Any experience or exposure with a second programming language or paradigm (functional, scripting).
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL queries, relational concepts) or APIs (REST basics).
• Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform (Canvas app), Dynamics 365 basics, Azure fundamentals, or C#/.NET projects.
• Exposure to version control (Git/GitHub preferred) or basic collaborative coding.
• Personal or academic projects demonstrating initiative (web apps, automation scripts, mobile apps, data tools).
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Quick learner with enthusiasm for enterprise software, CRM, and low-code platforms.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English for team collaboration and documentation.
• Team-oriented, proactive, detail-focused, and willing to receive feedback.
