Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialist (USRN) in the Philippines. The position targets nurses with USRN and PHRN licenses, strong acute care background, and a willingness to work onsite in Quezon City, Taguig City, or Cebu City.

Training will be provided to develop CDI expertise. Responsibilities include reviewing hospital records, identifying documentation gaps, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical records.

Qualifications

• PH nursing degree required and PH RN license plus US RN license.
• At least 3 years of acute medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Experience in acute hospital and direct patient care.
• Willingness to work onsite in Quezon City, Taguig City, or Cebu City.
• Training will be provided; no CDI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical scenarios and patient records from hospital settings.
• Assess documented signs, symptoms, diagnoses, and clinical indicators.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation.
• Apply clinical knowledge to evaluate whether medical records reflect patient condition and care.
• Review clinical information to support complete, accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support CDI initiatives.
• Participate in training to develop CDI knowledge and competencies.
