Private Advertiser is seeking a Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialist (USRN) in the Philippines. The position targets nurses with USRN and PHRN licenses, strong acute care background, and a willingness to work onsite in Quezon City, Taguig City, or Cebu City.

Training will be provided to develop CDI expertise. Responsibilities include reviewing hospital records, identifying documentation gaps, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical records.

Competenze

• PH nursing degree required and PH RN license plus US RN license.
• At least 3 years of acute medical-surgical nursing experience.

Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with strong acute care experience who are interested in transitioning into the clinical process outsourcing (CPO) industry. Training will be provided, so you can develop the specialized knowledge and skills needed for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret clinical scenarios and patient records from hospital settings.

• Assess documented signs, symptoms, diagnoses, and clinical indicators.

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation.

• Apply clinical knowledge to evaluate whether medical records accurately reflect the patient's condition and treatment.

• Review relevant clinical information to support complete, accurate, and consistent documentation.

• Collaborate with the appropriate healthcare teams to support clinical documentation improvement initiatives.

• Participate in training and continuous learning to develop CDI knowledge and competencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

• Active Philippine Registered Nurse (PHRN) license and US Registered Nurse (USRN) license are required.

• At least 3 years of substantial medical-surgical nursing experience.

• Strong experience in acute hospital and direct patient care.

• Hands-on experience managing patients requiring ventilator support, chest tubes, and multiple inotrope drips.

• Clinical background in the Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or telemetry.

• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex clinical information.

• Willingness to work onsite in Quezon City, Taguig City, or Cebu City.

• Interest in transitioning from bedside nursing into clinical documentation improvement.

No prior CDI experience is required, as training will be provided.
