Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related security equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular inspections of CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair cameras, cabling, network connections, and recording devices.
• Install and terminate structured cabling (UTP, fiber optic, coaxial).
• Configure IP cameras, NVRs, and remote monitoring systems.
• Monitor performance and recommend upgrades as needed.
• Document maintenance and installation activities accurately.
• Respond to service calls and safety compliant procedures.

Job Summary:

A CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and related security equipment. The role ensures that all security systems are functioning efficiently and meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related security equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular inspections of CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty cameras, cabling, network connections, and recording devices.
• Install and terminate structured cabling, including UTP, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.
• Configure IP cameras, network video recorders, and remote monitoring systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or improvements when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.
• Respond to service calls and technical issues in a timely manner.
