Job summary

Mary Grace Cafe is seeking a CCTV technician to install, configure, maintain, and repair CCTV cameras and surveillance systems on-site across multiple cafe locations.

The role requires 1–2 years of CCTV experience, knowledge of DVR/NVR and IP cameras, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance while traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electronics, Electrical, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical course.
• 1–2 years of experience in CCTV installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledgeable in CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, and surveillance equipment.
• Familiar with CCTV wiring, cabling, connectors, power supplies, and network connections.
• Able to diagnose and repair issues such as no signal, camera malfunction, poor video quality, recording problems, and connectivity issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking, IP addresses, routers, and switches is an advantage.
• Willing to conduct field work and travel between company sites/branches as needed.
• Physically capable of installation and maintenance work, including lifting equipment and working at elevated areas.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, maintains, and repairs CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
• Conducts regular inspection and preventive maintenance of CCTV equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoots CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, monitors, cables, power supplies, and network connections.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues such as camera failure, poor video quality, loss of signal, recording problems, and connectivity issues.
• Repairs, replaces, or reconfigures defective CCTV components and equipment as needed.
• Performs camera repositioning, focusing, and adjustment to ensure proper coverage and image quality.
• Checks and maintains CCTV wiring, cables, connectors, and other related hardware.
• Configures CCTV system settings, recording schedules, storage, and remote viewing access.
• Conducts testing after repairs or installations to verify that the CCTV system is functioning properly.
• Documents completed repairs, maintenance activities, equipment issues, and replacement parts used.
• Coordinates with other departments or external service providers for major repairs, upgrades, or system-related concerns.
• Ensures that CCTV systems are properly secured and operational in accordance with company standards.
• Performs other technical duties related to CCTV and security systems as assigned.
