Overview
Job Summary:
The CCTV Technician / Driver is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CCTV systems in both commercial and residential settings. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a vehicle to travel to various work sites.
Responsibilities
- CCTV Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (including cameras, recording devices, and associated equipment) according to site requirements.
- Conduct regular system checks to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty systems, including diagnosing and replacing damaged components.
- Set up and configure remote viewing software and mobile applications for end-users.
- Provide advice on camera placement, system design, and overall security improvements.
Vehicle Operation & Site Travel
- Safely drive company vehicles to and from job sites across the designated service area.
- Ensure timely arrival at scheduled job sites for installations, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any necessary maintenance.
- Comply with traffic laws and company policies related to driving.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in CCTV or electronics are a plus).
- Experience: Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV systems. Prior experience driving company vehicles is preferred.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Can Driver Manual and Automatic Vehicle
