Philippine Pastries Inc. (Bizu) is seeking a diligent Internal Auditor to independently evaluate internal controls, safeguard assets, and improve financial integrity across catering projects, fixed assets, and inventory management.

The role focuses on auditing project profitability, asset verification, inventory controls, and cash processes, with formal reporting and follow-up on management action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Financial Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant internal/auditing experience.
• Experience in food & beverage, catering, hospitality, or multi-site operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory control, fixed assets, financial reconciliation, and internal control assessment.
• Ability to develop risk-based audit plans and prepare formal audit reports.

Responsabilités

• Audit catering projects pre-event, during-event, and post-event.
• Review project costing, pricing, budgets to ensure target profit margins.
• Verify actual costs, manpower, overtime, equipment rentals, supplier charges against estimates.
• Reconcile expenses against approved budgets and investigate variances.
• Identify revenue leakages and irregularities such as ghost guests or improper discounts.
• Prepare post-event audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Conduct physical verification of fixed assets and equipment; reconcile with asset register.
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
• Audit cash, bank, and receivables; review aging and collections.
• Develop and monitor internal controls, compliance, and risk management activities.
