Job summary

San Miguel Foods is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our Audit team in the Philippines. The role requires at least 3 years of external or internal auditing, with CPA/CIA/CFE considered advantageous.

You will review controls, ensure compliance with tax and corporate policies, and analyze business processes across functions. You should have working knowledge of SAP and MS Office, strong presentation and English communication skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in external/internal auditing.
• CPA/CIA/CFE would be an advantage.
• Familiar with data processing fundamentals and controls.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of tax regulations for compliance audits (income, VAT, withholding, local taxes).
• Experience with SAP and other software used by San Miguel Food Group.
• Aware of corporate policies and procedures.
• Ability to identify fraud indicators.
• Understanding of business operations, controls, and risk management.
• Familiarity with international standards for internal auditing and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing independent, objective assurance and consulting audit services to San Miguel Food Group units to improve operations.
• Assist in executing a comprehensive internal auditing program, evaluating risk exposures and control effectiveness.
• Carry out special assignments/investigations as instructed by Audit Manager.
