Job summary

CW Marketing & Development Corporation is seeking a Category Supervisor for CW Home Depot to oversee purchasing activities and drive sales growth in the assigned product line. You will monitor stock levels, analyze performance, and coordinate with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and experience in construction or retail purchasing; strong negotiation, inventory management, and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in management, engineering, architecture or equivalent.
• Experience in construction or retail purchasing preferred.
• Proficient in using productivity tools and software.
• Background in retail operations particularly purchasing and warehousing.
• Knowledge of inventory management, negotiation, decision making and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing activities to drive sales growth.
• Set and review max/min stock for outright items.
• Create sales performance reports and recommendations.
• Provide supplier analysis on sales fluctuations.
• Conduct store visits for price checking and comparison.
• Negotiate best prices for non-brand items and tabulate results.
• Review slow/moving stock to maintain ideal inventory ratios.
• Review supplier-submitted new items for comparison.
• Monitor stock replenishment and Open Purchase Orders.
• Train new and existing merchandisers monthly.
