Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air is seeking a Category Manager in Strategic Procurement, based in Pasay City. The role focuses on developing end-to-end category strategies, driving sourcing activities, and managing supplier relationships to optimize cost and performance.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in procurement with strong market analysis, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, and will operate in a hybrid work environment with cross-functional teams across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, finance, or related operational roles.
• At least 1 year of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity
• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, IT, or related field
• Strong category management and market analysis expertise.
• Strategic thinking with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data, demand patterns, and supplier markets to support category strategy development.
• Conduct market and cost analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Develop forecasts, dashboards, and analytical reports to support sourcing and contracting decisions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Design and lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiations.
• Develop competitive sourcing strategies and present recommendations to senior leadership with clear commercial rationale.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including contract drafting, renewals, amendments, and risk escalation when necessary.
• Support supplier onboarding and coordinate documentation, compliance checks, and system setup.
• Drive supplier performance management through regular reviews and collaboration with CoE and business units.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and internal processes.
• Facilitate effective communication and information flow between suppliers, operations teams, and procurement CoE.
• Identify and implement procurement process improvements to enhance efficiency and value delivery.

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
