Job summary

SALES RAIN BPO, INC. is seeking a Catastrophe Modeling Analyst in Metro Manila to analyze exposure data and assess catastrophe risk for global carriers and underwriting teams.

You will work with leading modelling platforms and automation tools to support risk-informed decisions. Responsibilities include data management, model input preparation, and producing portfolio reports while collaborating with onshore and offshore stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Insurance, Engineering, Geography, Computer Applications, Data Analytics, or related quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Index-Match, Data Analysis).
• Working knowledge of exposure management and catastrophe modelling concepts.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, VBA, or automation tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Capture, validate, and maintain exposure data within SLAs.
• Analyze exposure datasets to support catastrophe modelling and accumulation management.
• Prepare data for modelling across multiple insurance lines (Property, Energy, Marine, etc.).
• Convert complex data into reports, dashboards, and management information.
