Job summary

Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. seeks a Catastrophe Modeling Analyst to manage exposure data end-to-end. You will collect, cleanse, and validate data, prepare outputs for reinsurers and modeling platforms, and support underwriting and actuarial decisions with robust reporting.

The role requires strong Excel skills, knowledge of RMS/AIR/EQE, and an analytical mindset to identify data quality issues and improve modeling workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geo Science, Meteorological Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with exposure data handling and catastrophe modeling preferred.
• Strong data management and statistical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and data presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and profile property/casualty exposure data for quality.
• Validate data against premium bordereaux and claims to identify discrepancies.
• Format and prepare exposure data for reinsurers and modeling platforms.
• Process insured exposure schedules for per-account catastrophe modeling.
• Interpret data, analyze model results, and report to stakeholders.
• Develop data cleansing techniques and improve processing workflows.
• Acquire data from sources and maintain exposure databases and reports.
• Identify trends in exposure and loss data sets.
• Evaluate data quality and correct coding and mapping issues.
• Define process improvements for catastrophe modeling workflows.
