Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting in Ortigas, Pasig is seeking an Insurance - Catastrophe Modeling Analyst to support CAT modeling, exposure management, and data analysis for US non-life insurance lines. You will prepare and validate property and exposure data, assess disaster risks, and help identify potential losses across locations.

The role requires a degree in a quantitative field and 1+ years in US non-life insurance, with strong Excel and CAT modeling software familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, CS, or related field.
1+ year experience in US Non-Life Insurance.
Experience with CAT Modeling, Exposure Management, or Insurance Data Analysis.
Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables and lookup formulas.
Familiarity with CAT modeling software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze US non-life insurance data including property, policy, coverage, and location info.
Clean and validate data for accurate addresses, ZIP codes, and geography.
Prepare data for CAT modeling.
Analyze property exposure to hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, and severe storms.
Identify risk concentrations and potential losses across states and locations.
Review CAT modeling results and prepare risk, exposure, and portfolio reports.
Perform data quality checks and investigate discrepancies.
Work with large datasets to identify trends and data errors.
Collaborate with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Support process improvements through automation and documentation.
