Job summary

Westside Resort is seeking a casino cashier/financial transactions associate in Metro Manila. The role involves handling cash, chip exchanges, TITO-related activities, and digital wallet transactions while ensuring accuracy and adherence to gaming regulations.

Some college (2nd year) is required, and candidates should be willing to work graveyard shifts, weekends, and in smoking areas. Prior cashiering experience is preferred; strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle financial transactions including cash and chip exchanges, foreign currencies buy-ins, and ticket sales/payments.
• Track errors and discrepancies in transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Facilitate buy-ins and settlements and ensure accurate recording in casino system.
• Maintain and balance cash drawers and reconcile floats and chip banks at shift end.
• Verify and record transactions to maintain accuracy and security.
• Provide excellent customer service while handling guest inquiries and concerns.
• Follow gaming regulations and company policies to prevent fraud and money laundering.
• Perform soft count and bill count procedures for cash handling.

About the role

Handle financial transactions between the casino and its patrons, including cash exchanges, deposits, withdrawals, and buy-ins. Ensure transaction accuracy, verify patron identities, and comply with gaming regulations and company policies. Maintain window float, follow security protocols to prevent fraud, and reconcile cash drawer at shift's end, reporting any discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct various financial transactions, including cash and chip exchanges, foreign currencies buy-ins, Ticket in/Ticket out (TITO) ticket selling & payments, marketing voucher redemptions, cash disbursements, Gcash/Maya (digital wallets), external advice, and credit/debit card advances


• Track errors and discrepancies in transactions to ensure accuracy


• Facilitate high-roller and house program buy-ins and settlements, ensuring accurate recording in the casino system


• Handle fill and credit transactions by ensuring accurate system recording, timely execution, maintain chip level in the chip bank, and balance casino chip inventory


• Maintain and balance cash drawers and reconcile window floats and chip banks at the end of each shift


• Verify and record transactions in the system to maintain accuracy and security


• Provide excellent customer service while handling guest inquiries and concerns


• Follow all gaming regulations, policies, and procedures to prevent fraud and money laundering


• Perform soft count and bill count procedures to ensure accurate handling and documentation of cash transactions


• Manage Tito kiosk replenishment to maintain proper cash level for smooth operations

About you

• Must have completed at least 2nd year of college education


• Experience in cashiering preferred

• Complies with the Company's Code of Conduct and other policies & procedures


• Ensures accuracy of work output by showing attention to detail

• Remains professional, helpful and responsive to customer needs


• Ability to stand for long periods, count and sort cash, carry chips and cash, and transport equipment to different cage properties


• Willing to work graveyard shift, shifting schedule, holidays and weekends, and in smoking areas
