Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a Cage Cashier to efficiently manage the Cage Department operations in a high-volume casino environment. Responsibilities include handling credit/debit card advancements, currency exchange, chips, and gaming transactions for patrons.

You will encode transactions in casino management systems, transfer cash and documents between cages, and balance inventories at each shift. Flexibility for shifts, weekends or holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and mathematics.
• Good analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs credit and debit card advancements, exchange cash, chips, foreign currency, and gaming transactions for patrons.
• Handles transactions in chip bank, main bank, and marker bank.
• Encodes transactions into casino management systems.
• Transfers cash, chips, foreign currency, and documents between cages.
• Balances inventories at end of each shift across front windows, banks, and marker banks.
• Rotates chips regularly to ensure correct quantities.
• Prepares and replenishes cash floats for cage windows and outlets.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Cage Cashier is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the operation of Cage Department according to relevant regulations and maintaining accuracy of the inventories.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Performs credit and debit card advancements, exchange cash, chips, foreign currency, slot and online gaming transactions for patron
• Handles transactions in chip bank, main bank, and marker bank
• Encodes transactions into the casino management systems
• Transfers cash, chips, foreign currency, and documents between cages
• Performs balancing in all front window, chip bank, main bank, and marker bank inventories every end of shift
• Performs chip rotation regularly to ensure the correct quantity
• Performs preparation and replenishment of cash floats for cage windows and other company outlets
• Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Management

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

• At least High School graduate
• College Graduate is an advantage

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years operational experience in Count/Cage operations in a high volume/large casino, Foreign Exchange Counter, Retail Cashier, or Bank Organization is an advantage
• Preferably with basic cash handling and/or casino or bank experience

Skills and Attributes

• Basic computer skills

Other Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge in both oral and written English
• Knowledge of Japanese/Chinese language is an advantage
• Able to work on a shifting schedule, weekends or holidays
