Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cashiering operations to ensure timely, accurate processing of customer payments.
• Monitor and verify daily collections from cash, check, and third-party payment channels.
• Ensure Treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls are followed.
• Review and validate daily Treasury reports, reconciliations, and collection summaries.
• Submit reports and collection summaries within prescribed timelines.
• Monitor cash accountability and safeguard records.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding collection concerns.
• Identify process improvements to enhance collection efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and audits.
• Provide guidance and supervision to cashiering personnel.

Role Description

As a Cashier Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Treasury collection operations, including cashiering, collection monitoring, cash accountability, report preparation, reconciliation, and compliance with Treasury policies and internal controls. The role ensures that collection processes are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cashiering operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of customer payments.
• Monitor and verify the completeness and accuracy of daily collections from cash, check, and third-party payment channels.
• Ensure Treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls are consistently implemented and complied with.
• Review and validate daily Treasury reports, reconciliations, and collection summaries for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure reports and collection summaries are submitted within prescribed timelines.
• Monitor cash accountability and safeguard collection records and transaction documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments and relevant stakeholders regarding collection concerns and reconciliation matters.
• Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance collection efficiency, accountability, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and audit requirements.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and supervision to cashiering personnel to maintain high levels of productivity and service quality.
• Support Treasury-related activities and other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or any related Business course.

Professional Experience

• Experience in cashiering operations, treasury management, collections, or related financial operations is an advantage.
• Experience in supervising cashiering or collection teams is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of cashiering procedures, collection processes, and cash handling controls.
• Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
