Job summary

MR.DIY Philippines is seeking a cashier with a bachelor’s degree in business or any four-year course and at least 1 year of cashiering experience, preferably with POS.

The role involves operating registers, handling payments, giving receipts, balancing cash drawer, handling exchanges and refunds, and maintaining a clean checkout area. This position is based in Camalaniugan, Cagayan Arcade and requires good customer service and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or any four-year course.
• Experience in cashiering with POS preferred.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Camalaniugan Cagayan Arcade.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
