Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a cashier with a business-related degree and at least one year in a similar role to efficiently handle payments and customer interactions. The ideal candidate will manage registers, ensure accurate pricing, issue receipts, and maintain a clean checkout area.

Position requires trustworthy, detail-oriented individuals with good communication and computer skills, willing to work onsite in San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in San Miguel Zambonga del Sur.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
