Job summary

Emerson in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, is seeking a Specialist I Cash Application to join a dynamic finance team. You will provide first-line credit and collection services, matching payments to invoices and ensuring accurate posting for various payment methods, while supporting month-end close.

You will have at least a bachelor's degree in finance, 1 year in customer service or BPO, excellent English communication, and be able to work night shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any finance field.
• At least 1 year experience in Customer Service or BPO related fields
• Very good English written and oral communication skills, as all written and phone communication will be in English
• Amenable to working the night shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Review received payments (bank statements) daily.
• Match received payments to open receivables utilizing available payment details in the bank statements and also referencing remittance advice from customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely allocation of payments against invoices. This includes all payment types - wire, credit card, ACH, etc.
• As applicable, run automated cash posting and demo memo creation. Review and fix errors related to uploading.
• Assist in month-end close activities for proper balancing
