Job summary

You will maintain strong relationships with transport partners, participate in partner and 3PL meetings, and monitor performance against service metrics while ensuring adherence to SOPs and QMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and recruiting potential trucking partners through environmental scanning, referrals, social media, exhibits, conventions, auctions, and other channels.
• Negotiating trucking rates with prospective business partners based on the approved subcontractor rate matrix.
• Supports the Control Tower in sourcing backup truckers during peak periods.
• Consolidates drivers' issues and escalates to supervisor for action.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with transport partners.
• Participates in meetings with partners and local 3PLs to discuss concerns and improvements.
• Monitors performance against lead time standards and service metrics.
