Job summary

TTEC is hiring a Chat Technical Support Representative to join our onsite team in Bacolod. You’ll provide first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms, troubleshoot issues, and guide customers through effective solutions via chat, email, or other digital channels.

Qualifications

• Senior High School with IT-related coursework or background.
• Experience in tech support or troubleshooting is an advantage (BPO a plus).
• Basic knowledge of email systems, internet troubleshooting and computer navigation.
• Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with email-related concerns such as login issues, password resets, account setup, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex technical issues involving webmail, email clients, and account configurations.
• Guide customers through step-by-step solutions with clear and professional communication.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the system.
• Escalate unresolved or complex technical concerns to the appropriate support teams.

What You’ll Do

Do you enjoy solving technical problems while helping customers? As a Chat Technical Support Representative, you'll provide first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms. You'll troubleshoot technical concerns, guide customers through solutions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience through chat, email, or other digital channels.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

• Assist customers with email-related concerns such as login issues, password resets, account setup, and troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex technical issues involving webmail, email clients, and account configurations

• Guide customers through step-by-step solutions with clear and professional communication

• Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the system

• Escalate unresolved or complex technical concerns to the appropriate support teams

What You Bring to the Role

• Completed at least Senior High School with background in IT-related courses.

• Background in technical support or troubleshooting experience but not required, BPO experience is an advantage

• Basic knowledge of email systems, internet troubleshooting, and computer navigation

• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
