Job summary

TTEC in Bacolod, Philippines is seeking a Chat Technical Support Representative to handle first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms. You'll help customers via chat, email, or other digital channels and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role focuses on solving login issues, email configuration, and troubleshooting with clear communication. A Senior High School background with IT-related studies is acceptable; BPO experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed at least Senior High School with background in IT-related courses.
• Background in technical support or troubleshooting experience but not required, BPO experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of email systems, internet troubleshooting, and computer navigation.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms.
• Troubleshoot technical concerns and guide customers through solutions.
• Assist customers with email-related concerns such as login issues, password resets, account setup.
• Diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex issues involving webmail, email clients, and account configurations.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in the system; escalate unresolved or complex concerns as needed.

What You’ll Do

Do you enjoy solving technical problems while helping customers? As a Chat Technical Support Representative, you'll provide first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms. You'll troubleshoot technical concerns, guide customers through solutions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience through chat, email, or other digital channels.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

• Assist customers with email-related concerns such as login issues, password resets, account setup, and troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex technical issues involving webmail, email clients, and account configurations

• Guide customers through step-by-step solutions with clear and professional communication

• Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the system

• Escalate unresolved or complex technical concerns to the appropriate support teams

What You Bring to the Role

• Completed at least Senior High School with background in IT-related courses.
