MOGUL CONSTRUCTION CORP is seeking a Cadet Civil Engineer for its premium project management team in Metro Manila. This entry-level role targets newly licensed or fresh graduates looking to build a career in luxury construction.

You will assist the Site Engineer in supervising daily works, perform quality inspections for high-end finishes, and help manage documents like RFIs and submittals, while coordinating with subcontractors to ensure seamless progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PRC Civil Engineer license is highly preferred, but fresh graduates awaiting results may apply.
• Experience in high-end/luxury residential or premium commercial projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with precision finishing and reading architectural/structural blueprints is expected.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel for data tracking is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Engineer with supervising daily structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Conduct regular quality inspections for premium finishes and luxury finishes.
• Monitor material deliveries to ensure proper handling and storage of premium materials.
• Maintain site diaries, photo logs, and daily manpower/attendance records.

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated Cadet Civil Engineer to join our project management team. This entry-level, training-intensive role is designed for a newly licensed or fresh graduate Civil Engineer who wants to build a career in the premium construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Engineer in supervising daily structural, architectural, and finishing works, ensuring they strictly align with approved plans and blueprints.

• Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure finishing works (e.g., premium tiling, specialized concrete & high-end woodwork) meet the meticulous standards of luxury residential builds.

• Assist in monitoring material deliveries to ensure that premium, specified fixtures and construction materials are handled, stored, and installed correctly.

• Help enforce strict housekeeping, organization, and safety protocols on-site.

• Assist in preparing, organizing, and tracking technical documents, including Requests for Information (RFIs), material submittals, and field change orders.

• Maintain accurate daily site diaries, digital photo logs of structural milestones, and daily manpower/attendance logs.

• Assist in updating project schedules and drafting DAILY progress reports for management and project owners.

• Coordinate with specialty subcontractors (e.g., specialized glazing, custom cabinetry, smart home installers) to ensure seamless workflow integration.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professional Board License (PRC Civil Engineer) is highly preferred, but outstanding fresh graduates waiting for board results or license cards are welcome to apply.

• Prior exposure, internship, or OJT experience in high-end/luxury residential projects or premium commercial builds is a major advantage.

• Familiarity with the precision and strict finishing requirements typical of high-end custom homes.

• Basic proficiency in computer-aided design software (AutoCAD).

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel for tracking quantities, material logs, and data.

• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEPFS blueprints.

• Exceptional eye for detail: Crucial for spotting minor discrepancies in high-end structural and architectural finishes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate professionally with architects, sub-contractors, site staff, and project owners.

• High level of integrity, initiative, and eagerness to learn on an active construction site.
