Position Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, proactive, and highly motivated Cadet Civil Engineer to join our project management team. This entry‑level, training‑intensive role is designed for a newly licensed or fresh graduate Civil Engineer who wants to build a career in the premium construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Assistance & Quality Control
- Assist the Site Engineer in supervising daily structural, architectural, and finishing works, ensuring they strictly align with approved plans and blueprints.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure finishing works (e.g., premium tiling, specialized concrete & high‑end woodwork) meet the meticulous standards of luxury residential builds.
- Assist in monitoring material deliveries to ensure that premium, specified fixtures and construction materials are handled, stored, and installed correctly.
- Help enforce strict housekeeping, organization, and safety protocols on‑site.
- Technical Documentation & Progress Tracking
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and tracking technical documents, including Requests for Information (RFIs), material submittals, and field change orders.
- Maintain accurate daily site diaries, digital photo logs of structural milestones, and daily manpower/attendance logs.
- Assist in updating project schedules and drafting daily progress reports for management and project owners.
- Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with specialty subcontractors (e.g., specialized glazing, custom cabinetry, smart home installers) to ensure seamless workflow integration.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
License: Professional Board License (PRC Civil Engineer) is highly preferred, but outstanding fresh graduates waiting for board results or license cards are welcome to apply.
Experience/Exposure
- Prior exposure, internship, or OJT experience in high‑end/luxury residential projects or premium commercial builds is a major advantage.
- Familiarity with the precision and strict finishing requirements typical of high‑end custom homes.
Technical Skills
- Basic proficiency in computer‑aided design software (AutoCAD).
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel for tracking quantities, material logs, and data.
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEPFS blueprints.
