Job summary

RUTTA Consult Inc. is seeking multi-talented designers, planners and drafters to support transportation planning, urban and environmental design. The role welcomes fresh graduates eager to learn and gain experience.

You will work across Architecture, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, and related disciplines, delivering concepts, drawings, mappings and visualizations for client presentations. Join a dynamic team focusing on transport modernization and climate-resilient design.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Architecture and/or Urban Planning with Environmental Planning units; Landscape Architecture is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in CAD drafting, 3D graphic design, GIS mapping, and 3D animation; strong portfolio required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and Adobe Photoshop; knowledge of Vectorworks and Lumion is a plus.
• Excellent hand-drawn sketches, 3D rendering, and modeling abilities.
• Strong understanding of transportation systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Passion for creating innovative, user-centric transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create architectural/landscape concepts, hand-drawn sketches, CAD drafting, and PSD graphics for land transportation projects.
• Develop detailed drawings, mapping, 3D graphics, and animations to communicate ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into designs.
• Research industry trends and best practices to stay current.
• Provide feedback to improve design quality and processes.
• Ensure designs meet Philippine safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Creating ARCHITECTURAL/LANDSCAPE CONCEPTUAL DESIGNS, HAND DRAWN SKETCHES, CADD DRAFTING WORKS and PSD GRAPHIC WORKS, GIS MAPPING WORKS, ILLUSTRATIONS and ANIMATIONS for client presentation on a range of land transportation-related projects, including PUV stops and passenger waiting areas -sheds/shelters, PUV terminals, passenger walkways, pedestrian bridges, streetscapes, and road signages.
2. Developing detailed technical drawings, mapping, 3D graphic drawings/models, and animation to communicate design ideas effectively
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into visually appealing and practical designs
4. Conducting research to stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
5. Providing feedback and recommendations to improve the design process and the quality of final deliverables
6. Ensuring designs comply with Philippines relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
7. Participating in client presentations and project meetings to present and defend design concepts and ideas

What we're looking for

1. A graduate of ARCHITECTURE and/or URBAN PLANNING is a must with units earned in ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING and LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE is an advantage.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CADD DRAFTING, 3D GRAPHIC DESIGN WORKS, GIS MAPPING WORKS, and 3D ANIMATION WORKS (knowledge in Animation is an advantage but not required) with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
3. Proficiency in design software such as AUTOCAD, ARCGIS/ARCGIS PRO/QGIS mapping software's, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP , other 3D graphics rendering software, and 3D animation software's. Knowledge and proficiency in using VECTORWORKS for landscape presentations and LUMION for 3D presentations is an advantage but not required.
4. Excellent in hand drawn sketches, 3D rendering, and 3D modelling abilities.
5. Strong understanding of transportation systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
7. Passion for creating innovative and user-centric transportation solutions.
