Job summary

Sasonbi Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a CAD Specialist to create, revise and detail 2D and 3D drawings for solar PV projects, translating engineering plans and site data into accurate CAD layouts.

You will collaborate with engineers and project teams, ensure drawings meet standards, prepare as-builts, and maintain organized files while coordinating with electrical, civil, and structural disciplines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a CAD Operator/Draftsman or similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, site plans, and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, dimensions, symbols, and technical documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Willing to conduct site visits and coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for solar PV projects, including layouts.
• Develop drawings based on engineering plans, site measurements, and project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes, site conditions, and client requirements.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installation and field changes.
• Ensure that all drawings are accurate, properly dimensioned, and follow company drafting standards.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Project Engineers regarding design requirements and revisions.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
• Assist Engineers in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, equipment layouts, and other technical documentation, when required.
• Incorporate site survey data, measurements, and field information into CAD drawings.
• Maintain and organize CAD files, drawing revisions, project folders, and other technical documents.

About the role

The CAD Specialist is responsible for preparing, developing, and revising technical drawings and layouts for solar PV projects. About you
