Job summary

Jacobs in the Philippines is seeking a CAD Drafter to support Autodesk Civil 3D modeling and produce 2D drawings from models. You will translate engineers' sketches into accurate deliverables and ensure outputs meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

You will mentor junior teammates, maintain organized project files with version control, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes under our hybrid working policy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CAD/modelling with Civil 3D; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Navisworks is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to take critical feedback constructively.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of data transfer between design software and awareness of manufacturing/construction methods is beneficial.
• Solid knowledge of engineering design principles and their practical application.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in drafting technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support Autodesk Civil 3D modelling and produce 2D drawings from models.
• Translate engineers sketches, markups, and architectural backgrounds into accurate models and drawings.
• Ensure outputs meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements per QA procedures.
• Assist in mentoring and training junior team members in design tools and standards.
• Maintain organized project files with proper version control and housekeeping.
• Promptly report software issues and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
