Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to join the Project Delivery team in Manila area, developing 2D/3D structural models and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of structural drafting/design experience
• College coursework in Revit or 10+ year hands‑on Revit experience
• Minimum 1 year of AutoCAD experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Develop structural models and construction deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD, with a focus on steel and concrete structures
• Create structural models from scratch based on sketches, redlines, and verbal direction from engineers
• Coordinate structural designs with other disciplines using clash detection tools
• Incorporate and manage electronic redlines following established workflows
• Take full ownership of your assigned structural scope, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Perform self‑checks and coordinate design packages to minimize conflicts
• Provide support and informal mentoring to junior designers when needed
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure compliance with project and structural standards
• Actively contribute to improving workflows, tools, and design automation initiatives
