Job summary

Jacobs Philippines is seeking a CAD Drafter to support Autodesk Civil 3D modeling and produce 2D drawings from models. You will translate engineers’ sketches into accurate models and drawings, ensuring outputs meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

This role offers hybrid work, collaboration with a global team, and opportunities to mentor junior designers while maintaining organized project files and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CAD drafting and modelling using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong ability to translate sketches and markups into accurate models and drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree in drafting technology or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Autodesk Civil 3D models and produce 2D drawings from these models.
• Translate engineers’ sketches, markups and backgrounds into accurate models and drawings.
• Ensure outputs meet quality, schedule and budget requirements following QA procedures.
• Assist in mentoring and training junior team members in design tools and standards.
• Maintain organized digital and physical project files with proper version control.
• Report software issues promptly and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
