INTELASSIST INC. in Metro Manila is seeking a seasoned Windows desktop developer to modernize and expand our POS and ERP software.

The role focuses on designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications with C# and .NET, building robust databases, and integrating with payments, inventory and accounting systems. Onsite onboarding with remote setup afterward; collaborate in an agile environment and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of Windows desktop development with C# and .NET.
• Strong proficiency in .NET/C#, WinForms, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Windows POS/ERP software using C# and .NET.
• Develop backend relational databases and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Integrate applications with POS and external business systems (payments, inventory, accounting).

Position Overview:

As a developer, you will lead the modernization and development of our software, systems and infrastructure. This person will design, develop, enhance, and maintain our Point of Sales (POS) software and other applications that support the business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software development methodologies that result in real business impact for a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain Windows applications such as Point of Sale (POS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems using C# and .NET technologies.




• Database Development and Integration: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend relational databases that integrate with application, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.




• System Integration: Build applications that integrate with our current POS and/or integrate with other internal and external business systems (e.g., payment gateways, inventory management, accounting software).




• Debugging & Optimization: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, functionality, and security.




• Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of code and application workflows for future reference and ease of maintenance.




• Continuous Learning, Modernization, and Security: Stay up to date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to C# and .NET development and apply such learnings to modernize and secure our software, systems, and infrastructure.




• Security Compliance: Assist in ensuring that all IT systems comply with security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.




• Training: Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems, fostering a culture of tech-savviness within the team.




• Collaboration: Work closely with management and other departments to assess technology needs and implement solutions that align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education.




• Proven Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing Windows desktop applications using C# and the .NET Framework.
