Job summary

HCL Technologies Philippines Inc. is seeking software engineers to join HCLSoftware. You will develop UI and back-end solutions, work on AI algorithms, data analysis, and robust, scalable code from design to release.

Hybrid work arrangement with onsite needs at Cyberscape Gamma, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Shift options include mid or night schedules, with opportunities for career growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Competencies in data structures, algorithms, or API design.
• Familiarity with databases, security, APIs and SDLC.
• Programming in C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/Typescript or Rust.
• Knowledge of arrays, linked lists, shortest path, search algorithms and bit manipulation.
• Ability to design scalable systems and API design, hashing, sorting and DP.
• Understanding of load balancing, CDNs, data sharding, redundancy and replication.
• Experience automating and scaling web or mobile back-ends.
• Mobile app development knowledge (iOS/Android) and sensing technologies.
• Willingness to learn other languages; write clean code across the stack.

Requirements:

• Competencies in data structures, algorithms, or API design

• Familiarity with industry standards, especially but not limited to databases, security, APIs and SDLC

• Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, and/or Python, JavaScript / Typescript or RUST

• Good knowledge of arrays, linked lists, shortest path & search algorithms, and bit manipulation.

• Ability to design scalable systems must have good knowledge of API design, hash tables, sorting algorithms, search algorithms, binary search trees, bit manipulation, and dynamic programming.

• Good knowledge of important concepts such as load balancing, CDNs, database sharding, redundancy and replication, and API design.

• Good knowledge in automating and scaling web or mobile back-ends.

• Knowledge of mobile application development in IOS or Android and sensing technologies

• Interest, willingness and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

• Write clean code across the stack by following the best practices of the tools used.

• Proficiency in English

• Willing to work on Mid shift (4PM - 1AM) or Night shift (8PM - AM) PH schedule.

• Hybrid work onsite at least twice a week or more (depending on project needs)

• Work location: Cyberscape Gamma, Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Responsibilities:

• Develop user interface with the latest front-end and back-end technologies.

• Develop a secure and robust code that is non-vulnerable.

• Collect requirements, system features, and functionality and develop system designs.

• Ensure the application development sprint cycle is on track and adjust the plan to meet release timelines.

• Support changes as needed and regular interaction with the internal development team on progress.
