Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Buyer IV to lead procurement activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive supplier performance, manage sub-teams of buyers, and ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency to support production planning.

Ideal candidate has extensive purchasing experience, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of maintaining supplier relationships while optimizing inventory levels in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, materials or Industrial Engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sub team of Buyers to achieve 100% On Time Delivery performance and manage inventory goals.
• Drive purchasing KPIs such as Past Due PO, Unconfirm PO, PPC (Pull in, Push out and Cancellation).
• Ensure the compliance of purchase data such as LT, AVL & SPQ/MOQ and cost setting as required in the system.
• Perform, supervise and evaluate sub team purchasing activities to ensure no disruption of supply to production plan and loading.
• Manage/improve the escalation process to resolve material shortages in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with suppliers to ensure effectiveness in delivery.
• Support and responsiveness.
• Risk assessment of material positioning for important / critical parts by customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To lead a sub team of Buyers to achieve the key performance – 100% of supplier On Time Delivery (OTD) performance and manage the Inventory goals and target.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science/ mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.
• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent

Experience Requirement:

• At least 6 years working experience for bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical or equivalent.
• At least 10 years working experience for Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MRP system will be advantageous.
• Able to perform in fast paced environment; Preferably experience from manufacturing environment.
• Possess good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
