Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Business Risk Manager to scale its financial control environment in France. You will operate in the 1st line of defence, building a best-in-class framework to oversee and improve controls, not just advise on them.

You will identify and assess risks, design and test controls, develop procedures, and promote a strong risk culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and associated regulations for banks.
• Experience with risk identification, monitoring, and controls.
• Familiarity with implementation and testing.
• Ability to interpret and organise complex data.
• A solid track record of achievement, having won competitive awards (academic, professional, and/or sport).
• The ability to quickly assume responsibilities.
• An organised and methodological approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

About The Role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They're among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support. We're looking for a Business Risk Manager to help scale the financial control environment in France. Sitting within the 1st line of defence (1LoD), you'll build a best-in-class framework, where you'll directly oversee and improve controls, not just advise on them.

What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Need

• A 2:1 degree from a top university
• 4+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and associated regulations for banks
• Experience with risk identification, monitoring, and controls
• Familiarity with implementation and testing
• Previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex data
• A solid track record of achievement, having won competitive awards (can be academic, professional, and/or sport)
• The ability to quickly assume responsibilities
• An organised and methodological approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills
