You will oversee and improve controls within the 1LoD, building a best-in-class framework and contributing to risk culture across the business.

The role emphasizes risk identification, monitoring, and controls, plus development of key procedures and indicators. Strong regulatory knowledge and data interpretation are essential.

Qualifications

• A 2:1 degree from a top university.
• 4+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and associated regulations for banks.
• Experience with risk identification, monitoring, and controls.
• Familiarity with implementation and testing.
• Previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex data.
• A solid track record of achievement, having won competitive awards (academic, professional, or sport).
• The ability to quickly assume responsibilities.
• An organised and methodological approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
