Our Financial Crime team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to prevent financial crime.

We’re looking for a Financial Crime Compliance Manager to ensure that our financial crime and anti-money laundering control frameworks are operating effectively. You'll design and lead the future of oversight and compliance by quickly identifying money laundering risks and maintaining systems and controls.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Maintaining, updating, and enhancing group FinCrime policies, standards, and related governance documents
  • Providing second-line oversight and challenge over the identification, management, remediation, and closure of financial crime-related risks, issues, incidents, and control gaps
  • Supporting senior management in defining and embedding standards for the effective management of financial crime risks across the organisation
  • Advising and challenging business and first-line FinCrime teams on new products, processes, procedures, systems, and control changes
  • Ensuring financial crime risks are appropriately considered in day-to-day operations, including product development, customer onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and customer risk management
  • Supporting the design and delivery of financial crime training and awareness initiatives across the organisation
  • Participating in financial crime governance forums and committees, providing effective check and challenge, identifying risks, and proposing practical solutions
What You'll Need
  • 4+ years of experience in financial crime compliance, ideally across AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud, KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and SAR-related processes
  • Expertise in covering investment management and private market products
  • In-depth knowledge of financial crime regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and risk management practices within a complex financial services organisation
  • An understanding of financial crime risks linked to innovative financial products and services, such as digital banking, payments, crypto, buy now, pay later, etc.
  • Familiarity with global financial crime control requirements and the ability to apply regulatory expectations in a practical, risk-based manner
  • The ability to identify financial crime risks, control weaknesses, and emerging vulnerabilities, and to recommend proportionate and effective mitigants
  • Experience providing second-line advice, oversight, and challenge to business and operational stakeholders
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, influence effectively, and challenge constructively
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English
Nice to have
  • A professional qualification from an internationally recognised body, such as ICA, ACAMS, or an equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of anti-fraud frameworks, control assessment processes, and financial crime assurance methodologies
  • Experience with regulatory engagement, internal/external audit, or remediation programmes
  • An interest in developing your expertise in cryptocurrency, digital assets, and related financial crime regulations
