Job summary

SAP Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a temporary SAP implementation specialist in the Philippines with 10–15 years of SAP experience. The role involves implementing and configuring SAP solutions, working with onsite stakeholders, and translating business needs into functional specs.

Projects include BW modelling, data extraction, reporting, and data migration activities. The position offers an irregular, prorated schedule with multiple short- and long-duration assignments up to 1 year.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of SAP implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW modelling, data extraction, transformations, and process chains.
• Experience with BEx Analyzer and SAP BO Analysis for Office.

Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders & Onsite team to understand their requirements, challenges, and goals.
• Solution Design and Configuration: Design SAP system configurations and customizations based on business requirements & Design. Configure SAP modules and functionalities, to meet the business processes and optimize system performance.
• Functional Specifications: Document functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements, including detailed requirements, process flows, and system behaviors. Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of required changes.
• System Testing and Validation: Plan and execute system testing to ensure that the implemented SAP solution meets the defined requirements. Conduct functional testing, Integration testing , and support end-users in validating system functionality.
• Training and User Support: Provide training and support to key users on SAP functionalities and processes. Develop testing documents, and facilitate training sessions to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the SAP system.
• Data Migration and Integration: Collaborate with Data team to facilitate the data migration strategies and perform data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities. Support and test integration interfaces between SAP and other systems to enable seamless data flow.
• Change Management: Assist in managing organizational change related to SAP implementations. Support change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and communication to ensure smooth transition and user adoption.

Implementation / Roll out of project:

• Responsible for implementing and configuring SAP solutions to meet the business requirements of the customer. He / She should work closely with business & Onsite stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze business processes, and translate them into functional specifications for the SAP system.
• Maybe required: Experienced in SAP BW modelling, including InfoCubes, DSOs, InfoObjects, data extraction, transformations, and process chains. Developed reporting solutions using BEx Analyzer and SAP BO Analysis for Office, performed performance optimization, managed data loads and scheduling, and supported production environments. Strong knowledge of BW extraction frameworks, Open Hub, APD, and routine debugging.

Upgrade / Conversion / Migration Projects:

• Responsible for analysing, configuring and testing SAP solutions to meet the requirements. He / She should work closely with Architect, business stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze business processes, and ensure the To be solution is meeting the business needs.
• May be required: Extensive SAP BW experience in data modelling, ETL development, and reporting, including InfoCubes, DSOs, InfoObjects, transformations, DTPs, and process chains. Skilled in master and transactional data extraction, BEx and SAP BO reporting, BW performance optimization, data loading and monitoring, production support, Open Hub and APD development, and debugging of BW routines.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis: Collaborate with Architect / Lead, business stakeholders & Onsite team to understand the To Be requirements, compatibility, challenges, and goals.
• Analyse the existing business process, configuration and custom developments
• Analyse the outcome of readiness check and SIT check. Support concluding the list of pre-requisite including notes.
• System Testing and Validation: Plan and execute system testing to ensure that the To Be SAP solution meets the defined requirements. Conduct smoke testing, functional unit testing, Integration testing , and support end-users in validating system functionality.
• Configure: Design and configure the solution based on the outcomes from readiness check, sand box testing and analysis.
• Provide inputs to Basis & Technical team for migrating to To Be Architecture.
• Training and User Support: Provide training and support to key users on SAP functionalities and processes. Develop testing documents, and facilitate training sessions to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the SAP system.
