Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to document and assess existing business processes and data workflows.

You will identify gaps, root causes of data quality issues, and design controls to prevent recurrence, coordinating with IT, Operations, Customer Service, and external service providers. You will define data validation requirements, SOPs, and maker-checker processes, supporting automation initiatives.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or BPA, with process analysis experience.
• Experience in at least one data migration, system implementation, or data remediation project.
• Background in financial services, onboarding, KYC, or back-office operations is preferred; brokerage/capital markets is a plus.
• Strong process mapping skills using BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to interpret data and understand basic SQL query outputs.
• Experience designing operational controls, including data validation and reconciliation.
• Comfortable working with technical teams and external providers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Process Analyst who will document and assess existing business processes, analyze data handling and ingestion workflows, identify process gaps and root causes of data quality issues, and design operational controls to prevent recurrence. The role will work closely with IT, Operations, Customer Service, and external service providers to improve data management processes, establish standard operating procedures, and support process automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with onboarding, customer service, operations, IT, and external service provider teams to understand and document existing business processes.

• Map the end-to-end process from source data extraction, file preparation, batch uploading, approval workflows, data ingestion, and transaction mapping.

• Document batch-ingestion business logic, field mapping, and automated approval processes in coordination with technical teams and external providers.

• Review existing operational practices, including manual file modifications, spreadsheet formulas, and data formatting procedures, and identify potential sources of data inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with Data Analysts to translate identified data error patterns into root causes involving people, processes, systems, and operational controls.

• Define business rules to distinguish legitimate data changes, such as address updates and account modifications, from actual data corruption or inconsistencies.

• Specify data validation requirements, exception reporting procedures, maker-checker approval workflows, and file-integrity controls.

• Develop improved business process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting documentation.

• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to affected teams and monitor the adoption of revised processes and controls.

• Document business rules, recurring issue patterns, and process requirements to support future automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Process Analyst, including experience in process analysis and improvement.

• Experience in at least one data migration, system implementation, or data remediation project.

• Background in financial services, financial operations, onboarding, KYC, or back-office operations is preferred. Experience in brokerage or capital markets is an advantage.

• Strong process mapping skills using BPMN, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.

• Experience in requirements gathering, business process documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

• Ability to interpret data and understand basic SQL query outputs.

• Experience designing operational controls, including data validation, reconciliation, maker-checker processes, and exception handling.

• Comfortable working directly with technical teams and external service providers to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.

• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
