Job summary

1840 & Company is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional in Cebu City to identify local businesses that match project requirements for an AI video-data collection initiative. You will research opportunities, contact owners or decision-makers, and qualify locations for participation.

This full-time independent contractor role requires 3+ years in BD or related fields, strong communication and follow-up skills, and the ability to visit client sites to pitch the opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development, lead generation, sales prospecting, site/location acquisition, partnerships, or similar work.
• Strong communication, research, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
• Able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Expected to visit business establishments to pitch in.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify suitable businesses, locations, and opportunities based on project criteria.
• Contact business owners, managers, or other decision-makers and establish professional relationships.
• Qualify locations and document required information, status, contacts, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate qualified opportunities with the Operations/Client Success team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or needed for the project.
