Business Growth and Operations Manager

Job Description

The Business Growth & Operations Manager is responsible for helping Management develop and execute growth initiatives across JoyRide's customer and driver base.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role combining business growth, operations, marketing, and business development. The role will work closely with Management to help shape strategy, monitor performance, identify opportunities and issues, and drive initiatives from planning through execution.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Management to develop and execute growth and operational strategies.
• Monitor customer and driver activity, retention, acquisition, regional performance, and other key business metrics.
• Proactively identify performance gaps, declining activity, supply-demand issues, and growth opportunities.
• Translate business priorities and ideas into clear action plans and drive execution across concerned teams.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve customer and driver acquisition, retention, reactivation, and activity.
• Plan and support regional launches, promotions, incentives, and other growth programs.
• Monitor the effectiveness of promos, incentives, campaigns, and initiatives and recommend adjustments based on performance.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Marketing, Product, Data, Support, and other teams to ensure initiatives are executed properly and on time.
• Identify and evaluate partnership, event, community, and business development opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitor monitoring and recommend practical actions to improve competitiveness.
• Support marketing and growth initiatives, including local activations, digital campaigns, partnerships, and other customer or driver programs.
• Track ongoing initiatives, follow up on deliverables, surface blockers, and ensure projects are carried through to completion.
• Prepare regular performance updates, findings, and recommended next steps for Management.
• Take ownership of special projects related to business growth, expansion, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in business operations, growth, business development, marketing, strategy, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with data, reports, KPIs, and performance trends.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, resourceful, and highly execution-focused.
• Able to work closely with senior Management while independently driving day-to-day initiatives.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer and partner behavior.
• Able to move between strategy and execution comfortably.
• Experience in mobility, logistics, delivery, e-commerce, fintech, or other platform businesses is an advantage.
• Experience in promotions, partnerships, regional expansion, retention, or acquisition initiatives is preferred.
