Job summary

Godrej Construction seeks an experienced IMS professional to support internal audits and manage surveillance audits across quality and environmental systems. You will help maintain ISO standards, train teams, and ensure continuous improvement.

You will also assist with BPM initiatives, monitor key process measures, and support Lean practices on construction sites, driving efficiency and waste reduction across projects.

Qualifications

• Essential: Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 50001:2018.
• Experience in IMS/internal audit environments and quality systems.
• Familiarity with Lean construction practices and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head BE in managing Surveillance / Recertification Audit.
• Plan & Conduct Internal Audits and update system documents.
• Ensure closure of all audit findings and maintain IMS records.
• Support BPM: develop, monitor and review process metrics.
• Support Lean programs and site-level improvements.

Job Description

• IMS Management (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001)
  • Assist Head BE in Managing Surveillance / Recertification Audit
  • Plan & Conduct Internal Audits
  • Common documents review and updating in the system
  • Ensure closure of all OFIs/ Comments received in internal audits as well as External Audits.
  • Basic IMS Training to Employees.
  • Maintaining database for process Management.
  • Prepare for Management Review Meeting (MRM) Post Internal Audit and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MoM)
• Business Process Architecture (BPM)
  • Handhold and support Head BE to Develop, Monitor, and Review Process measures/KPI-S.
  • Enhance GC processes through BPM.
  • Support in managing the L1 L2 and L3 process framework and its related documentation.
  • Monthly Review of Process Measures for each Team (BT-S/ET-S)
• Lean Program (Construction & Manufacturing)
  • Assist Head BE in and project managers in applying lean construction tools, such as the Last Planner System, Just-In-Time delivery, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Collect and analyse data on site activities for waste identification, workflow improvements, and progress reporting.
  • Participate in planning meetings and contribute to pull scheduling and bottom-up planning with the project team.
  • Support implementation of site-level lean practices – such as 5S organization, standard work processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document lessons learned and help prepare training materials for project teams.
  • Monitor lean metrics (e.g., cycle time, constraint tracking) and report findings to supervisors.
  • Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, and suppliers for collaborative problem solving.

  • Active participation in all relevant internal meetings, ensuring timely response.
  • Taking on responsibilities as back up resource for other team members in area of Business Excellence and GRACE program management.
  • Taking on additional tasks & responsibilities as felt necessary by the Godrej Construction management.

Graduate in any Discipline

Preferred Qualification :
