Highspring is seeking a proactive B2B business development professional to help us create qualified conversations, develop partner relationships, and turn interest into clear next steps. The role combines personalized outreach, live calling, initial qualification, and ownership of meeting and tradeshow coordination.
Role and Responsibilities
- LinkedIn outreach and relationship development: Manage a focused prospect and partner outreach workflow: review targets, check relationship history, personalize messages, track responses, and pursue relevant next steps. Prepare messages for Jack's personal account and conduct outreach transparently through the coordinator's own authorized account. Do not share personal account credentials, impersonate Jack, or use prohibited automation. Escalate sensitive conversations and recognize when to pause rather than continue pursuing a contact.
- Cold calling and initial qualification: Conduct live B2B calls to approved target accounts. Find the appropriate decisionmaker, explain Reality's relevant value, ask useful questions, handle initial objections, and determine whether a meeting with Jack is warranted. Capture the person's role, stated need or partner fit, timing, concerns, and agreed next step. Respect contact restrictions, opt-outs, applicable calling requirements, and company policy. Use approved messaging without inventing capabilities or commitments.
- Lead capture and HubSpot accountability: Check existing contacts, companies, ownership, and activity before outreach or record creation. Add or update verified information within assigned permissions, documenting the source and actual conversation outcome. Record activity and the next action, owner, and due date within one business day. Distinguish an unqualified contact from a qualified meeting or opportunity. Resolve ambiguous records with the appropriate owner and do not change deal stages merely because an email was sent or a meeting booked.
- Warm leads and relationship follow-through: Respond promptly during agreed coverage hours to relevant inbound interest. Rebook missed meetings, reactivate suitable older relationships, and follow up on promised introductions. Use a call when it can resolve a stalled email exchange. Maintain continuity across channels and avoid duplicate outreach from Jack, the coordinator, or an automated campaign.
- Partner development and activation: Help develop resellers, referral partners, and complementary service partners that can bring Reality's software and services to market. Find appropriate commercial contacts, pursue introductions, arrange partner enablement sessions, and coordinate first joint opportunities. Gather feedback on barriers to collaboration and surface useful findings. Jack owns partner selection, commission arrangements, negotiations, and contractual commitments.
- Tradeshow meetings and travel logistics: Build an event meeting plan with Jack, prioritizing commercial fit over meeting volume. Contact targets and introducers before the event, secure meetings, confirm participants and locations, and maintain realistic travel and preparation buffers. Coordinate approved registration, hotel, transportation, dining, materials, and shipment arrangements. Track confirmations and deadlines, resolve disruptions remotely, and identify a named onsite owner for physical work. After the show, confirm meeting outcomes and drive the agreed follow-up.
- Opportunity coordination and customer feedback: Bring the right stakeholders into follow-up meetings, collect missing requirements, and coordinate requested presentations, case studies, demonstrations, and internal responses. Seek feedback when opportunities stall and distinguish confirmed facts from assumptions. Route technical questions to the appropriate expert and elevate decisions with a concise recommendation. Do not promise pricing, scope, delivery dates, or technical performance without authorization.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant B2B business development, sales development, partnership support, or comparable experience, including demonstrated live outbound calling and meeting qualification.
- Strong spoken and written English, active listening, sound judgment, and confidence communicating with senior business contacts.
- Practical HubSpot proficiency in contacts, companies, activities, tasks, associations, and opportunity handoffs.
- Experience with personalized professional outreach and disciplined follow-up. B2B technology, channel partnerships, retail environments, or related services experience is preferred.
- Strong meeting and travel coordination skills, including resolving changes without creating unnecessary work for the executive.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted research and drafts while independently checking accuracy, protecting confidential information, and recognizing limits.
