Job summary

JCV & Associates, a construction consultancy, seeks a Business Development Officer to own the client lifecycle from first conversation to kickoff. You will manage sector accounts, drive opportunities from qualification to submission, and ensure smooth progression across proposals and delivery.

You’ll be the link between clients, proposals, and delivery, maintaining sharp CRM records and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales support, marketing, or project coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort managing multiple opportunities and stakeholders at once.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and disciplined tracking habits.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships within assigned sector to drive repeat and cross-sell business.
• Guide opportunities from qualification through proposal submission with stakeholders aligned.
• Maintain accurate, real-time CRM records for forecasting and pipeline reporting.
• Coordinate client accreditation, procurement requirements, and RFP submissions end-to-end.
• Draft technical and commercial proposals with Finance and BD Head.
• Manage post-award client relationships, satisfaction tracking and issue resolution.
• Track market trends and competitor activity to sharpen the sector's pipeline.

As our Business Development Officer, you'll manage a dedicated portfolio of sector accounts, guide opportunities from qualification through proposal, and keep every deal moving with precision. You'll be the connective tissue between clients, proposals, and delivery — making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What you'll own:
