Positioned at the intersection of sales, strategy, and finance, this role translates raw market data into actionable revenue strategies.
The Business Development Analyst is responsible for researching potential growth avenues, analyzing industry trends, building financial valuation models, and supporting strategic partnerships or mergers and acquisitions (M&A). They work closely with executive leadership, sales teams, and product leads to drive top-line revenue expansion and increase market share.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on industry trends, customer demographics, and emerging markets.
Benchmark competitors' pricing, product offerings, market position, and sales strategies.
Identify target accounts, prospective business partners, and untapped vertical markets.
Build financial models to evaluate new business ventures, pricing structures, ROI, and deal profitability.
Perform valuation analysis for potential strategic partnerships, joint ventures, or M&A opportunities.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales velocity, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
Maintain and optimize sales pipeline data within CRM systems
Prepare pitch decks, business proposals, investment memos, and executive summaries for prospective partners and leadership.
Support contract negotiations by analyzing terms, financial commitments, and operational feasibilities.
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure business development initiatives align with capacity and corporate strategy.
