Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in Ortigas is seeking a Business Continuity Officer to join the Operations team in a hybrid capacity. You will help develop, implement, and strengthen strategies for operational resilience and effective recovery from disruptions, coordinating with business units and IT teams.

The role focuses on risk assessments, business impact analyses, training, drills, and documentation management. A background in financial services BCM and governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• At least 2 years in operations, technology, or business continuity in financial services.
• Knowledge of BCM, disaster recovery, crisis management, and resilience.
• Experience in developing or supporting disruption response processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and consolidate risk assessments and business impact analyses from business units and IT teams to support the Bank's business continuity and resilience objectives.
• Facilitate business continuity training, awareness programs, and refresher sessions to strengthen organizational preparedness and response capabilities.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of business continuity tests, drills, exercises, and recovery readiness activities.
• Maintain and review documentation from critical external service providers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with continuity requirements.
• Assist in the execution and coordination of recovery plans during business disruptions to support timely restoration of critical operations.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the Business Continuity Management program by supporting updates to policies, methodologies, recovery strategies, plans, roles, and budgets.
• Collaborate closely with business units and IT teams to ensure timely submission of requirements, compliance with continuity standards, and effective program governance.

• Experience in developing, implementing, or supporting processes and procedures for business disruption response and recovery.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills, with exposure to regulatory, compliance, or government-related engagements.
