Job summary

EastWest Bank in Taguig seeks a Vice President to lead the Bank Operations Group's Corporate Banking & Trade Operations. You will direct operational delivery across consumer, corporate, and trade finance products, driving efficient processing, compliance, and risk management.

You will champion digital transformation, establish governance, oversee end-to-end transaction processing, and build a high-performing team dedicated to accuracy, timeliness, and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years in banking operations with 5+ in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of consumer, corporate, and trade finance operations.
• Strong regulatory and risk management expertise; track record in automation.

• Lead development and execution of operational strategies across consumer, corporate, and trade finance segments to drive business alignment and growth.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in banking operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
• Demonstrated expertise in consumer banking, corporate banking, and trade finance operations, with deep knowledge of trade finance products and regulations including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections, Trade Credit Insurance, Factoring, Forfaiting, Supply Chain Financing, Export Financing, and Structured Trade Finance
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks and operational risk management, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and robust internal controls.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading transformation and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic outcomes.
