East West Banking Corporation in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig is seeking a Risk Management Officer focused on Operational Risk to join the Risk Management team. Hybrid work arrangement with responsibilities to monitor risks, prepare committee reports, and ensure policy compliance.

You will develop risk policies and frameworks, provide staff training, and assess regulatory compliance while maintaining high service standards and recognizing excellent performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Banking experience with operational risk emphasis preferred.
• Skilled in engaging with executive stakeholders, including board-level presentations.
• Experience building organizational capability through coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Risk Officer in identifying, measuring, and managing the bank's risk within its risk appetite and policy.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management Framework including policies, procedures, and monitoring systems.
• Promote a strong risk culture across the organization to enhance awareness and accountability.
• Identify and analyze key risks and their drivers across the bank's operations.
• Continuously monitor risk exposures against tolerances and report findings to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and update the Risk Management Framework to align with evolving risk profile.

Our Risk Management team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig in the role of Risk Management Officer (Operational Risk).

In this role, you will manage the bank's risk by monitoring risks, preparing reports for committees, and ensuring policy compliance. You'll develop risk management policies and frameworks, offer training and development for staff, and regularly assess compliance with regulations. What The Role Will Entail

• Relevant banking experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have gained operational risk experience and enterprise-wide oversight exposure.
