Job summary

APW Tech in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria. You will manage requirements in Azure DevOps and work with the Product Owner to refine the backlog.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Management, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field
10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, including at least 5 years in a Senior BA role
At least 5 years of experience in banking, accounting, or financial services
Strong experience in business process design and documentation
Experience in QA, software testing, and UAT
Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the software development lifecycle
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, particularly in managing iterations, user stories, and project documentation
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, Dynamics 365, and Power BI
Experience with ITIL practices and vendor management is an advantage
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions
Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Manage and maintain requirements and project documentation in Azure DevOps
Work closely with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog
Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, vendors, and other stakeholders
Define and improve business processes and present potential solutions
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with QA teams on test scenarios and test cases
Monitor issues and bugs and coordinate their resolution
Ensure solutions meet business requirements and agreed acceptance criteria
