Job summary

Amicassa Process Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Systems Analyst to lead analysis, design, solutioning, and delivery across the full application development lifecycle—from initiation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, QA, implementation and continuous improvements.

The role involves managing and coordinating with vendors and internal groups, documenting requirements, mapping workflows, performing testing and UAT, and ensuring solutions align

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of API-based integration, data mapping, ETL, and SQL.
• Experience with workflow/process mapping.
• Quality assurance, testing, and defect tracking.
• Stakeholder management and effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• IT or Engineering background preferred.
• Experience with Finance SAP or related systems is a plus.

• Facilitate UAT with business groups and ensure zero critical defects at go-live.
• Ensure activities follow the work plan and manage deviations.
• Apply a process-first mindset to simplify processes while enabling technology.
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies for competitive advantage.
• Adjust plans and strategies in response to changing business environments.

Job description

The position has responsibilities in systems analysis, design, solutioning, and delivery. It also involves managing and collaborating with vendors and internal groups to drive application development projects throughout the application development lifecycle from initiation, business requirements gathering, design, solutioning, development, testing, quality assurance, implementation and continuous improvements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business and Systems Analysis

• Actively participate in Business Requirements gathering activities
• Assess requirements or change-proposals and define solutions and technical requirements to help the organization achieve its goals
• Able to solve problems by identifying inefficiencies and recommending scalable solutions
• Clear documentation of requirements and effective collaboration with vendors and business stakeholders
• Conduct testing to validate functionalities and ensure minimal defect leakage post-UAT
• Facilitate UAT activity with business groups and ensure there are zero critical defects upon go-live
• Ensure activities are conducted based on the work plan and any deviations are managed appropriately
• Employ a process-first mindset to simplify and harmonize process where appropriate while enabled with technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Drive innovation thru openness to exploring new technologies, methodologies and processes that can bring competitive advantages to the organization
• Ability to adjust plans and strategies in response to changing business environments or unforeseen challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

1. 1. At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst.
2. 2. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
3. 3. Very Good understanding of system integration via APIs, data mapping, ETL processes, and database concepts (SQL)
4. 4. Understanding of workflow and process mapping
5. 5. Has experience in quality assurance, testing, and defect tracking
6. 6. Good stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
7. 7. Able to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
8. 8. Preferably someone in IT or Engineering course
9. 9. Experience in Finance and SAP or other Financial Management Systems is a plus
